Four spinner wheels are always a plus over two rigid ones. But, and this is a big but... I WAS FORCED TO CHECK THIS BAG TWICE BY TWO DIFFERENT AIRLINES BECAUSE IT WAS OVER THEIR SIZE LIMIT FOR CARRY-ON LUGGAGE. As far as I'm concerned, that's a deal-breaker for me with a "carry-on" bag. Prospective buyers need to know the bag is taller and deeper (22.5 x 9) than the advertised dimensions on the Amazon site, before deciding if this one suits their needs. Turner I bought this in a rush for my daughter, who was coming home from college for winter break and had only half an hour to change planes in Houston, which meant hoofing it across a huge airport--along with the likelihood her checked luggage wouldn't make the switch This is a girl who cannot be parted from her wardrobe!!--who has also never learned to pack sparely. She needed a carry-on that would wing it across airports in a huff without banging into her legs, or other legs, or various barriers between one plane and the next, without twisting her wrist. She needed something she could stuff in an overhead storage compartment without penetrating glances filled with nasty implications from surrounding passengers. She needed a carry-on she could overstuff without looking conspicuous. Enter Samsonite. She hates the way it looks. I love that she could heft it into the wayback and I still had room for my own gear, and groceries--and the wayback's fairly small. I didn't even notice how overpacked the thing was--until two days later Her clothes are all over the floor, her computer chair, and the rocker. And this piece of luggage is STILL EIGHT INCHES DEEPER than it is when empty! I frankly don't know how Samsonite does this. She is here for a month, and this thing holds a half-year's worth of clothes. Who cares what it looks like? 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Broke after one flight By E. Lee The handle doesn't stay in place after one flight. Sometimes it's hard to pull out and when it's pulled out, it doesn't stay in place so my hand keeps hitting the bar. As another reviewer mentioned, the airline attendant told me that the bag is too large for carry-on and wanted me to check it in. As airlines increasing cut down on the weight and size of your luggage, you're going to run into more problems with this Samsonite bag. On the plus side, the spinner wheels are convenient before the handle broke after the first flight and the bag is spacious The material is also durable, so I don't think it would break before your third flight, although I can't claim this based on personal experience because the bag didn't last that long.
